Andrew Wilzman is a Biomedical Engineer with over eight years of combined research and industry experience, specializing in computational musculoskeletal biomechanics. He is experienced in developing predictive models, culminating in a dissertation on estimating bone fatigue life. He is also proficient in programming (Python, MATLAB) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with a proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international biomechanics conferences.
Dr. Wilzman earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in May of 2025 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he studied under the guidance of biomechanics research icon Dr. Karen Troy. There, he gained extensive experience bridging computational modeling to in vivo and cadaveric human studies conducted by him and Dr. Troy’s laboratory.
