His work focuses on identifying root causes of distress, evaluating soil-structure interaction, and providing technically sound, defensible engineering opinions for litigation and dispute resolution. Dr. Abdelhamid’s expertise includes expansive soil behavior, pavement and foundation performance, retaining wall and slope stability analysis, and advanced numerical modeling of soil-structure and soil-fluid interaction.
