Enrique Rivera
Enrique Rivera is a Forensic Expert with Aperture (formerly WEXCO). Enrique has extensive technical and practical experience in conducting safety investigations and analyses of premises including commercial, residential, restaurants, retail, etc. and products including lithium-ion cells used in various electronic devices, various seating chairs, and ladders. Enrique has investigated and analyzed more than 4,500 cases in the past 8 years.
Enrique acquired a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University at Fullerton. He is also a certified Tribometrist, a specialty certification for pedestrian safety.
Enrique has hands-on experience in the automotive industry including diagnostics, repair, and restoration, the construction industry including residential tracts, condominiums, commercial and industrial buildings and heavy equipment operation on construction projects and project management of large scale heavy civil engineering projects. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the ASTM International F13 subcommittee on pedestrian walkway safety, which develops safety standards for walking surfaces. He works with a licensed Civil Engineer, Safety Engineer, Architect, and General Contractor daily and has also worked directly with licensed Geotechnical and Structural Engineers, Materials Science Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and Building Inspectors.
