Gabriel Glasser is an Accident Reconstructionist and Biomechanical Engineer with Aperture (formerly Biomechanical Research and Testing). He has worked on a wide variety of cases involving automotive collisions, premises liability incidents, and injury biomechanics. He is involved in all phases of case analysis, including investigation, vehicle and site inspections, accident reconstruction, biomechanical engineering analysis, report preparation, and trial exhibit development. Gabriel has extensive experience with FARO and Artec 3D laser scanners, PhotoModeler photogrammetry, PC-Crash simulations, and drone-based scene documentation and mapping as an FAA Part 107 certified Remote Pilot.

Gabriel has extensive hands-on testing experience involving both human volunteers and anthropomorphic test devices (ATDs). He has participated in numerous instrumented crash tests and biomechanical studies involving occupant kinematics, injury mechanisms, and vehicle safety systems. Prior to joining Aperture, his research and professional experiences included sports injury biomechanics, concussion biomechanics, and military blast exposure, and motion capture and performance analysis for athletic evaluation. He is proficient in MATLAB and has developed custom analysis tools for biomechanics and forensic engineering applications. Gabriel also designed and co-built Aperture's elevated biomechanical testing walkway with integrated Kistler force plates for gait and slip/trip-and-fall research.

Mr. Glasser holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is an ACTAR-accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist, a certified Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Specialist, and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators (SATAI). Gabriel has authored and co-authored publications in sports biomechanics, ballistic injury research, event data recorder (EDR) validation, occupant biomechanics, and vehicle seat performance in rear-end collisions.
