Mr. Sanders started his career as a Hospital Corpsman (HM) in the United States Navy in 1992. He spent over 10 years attending to injuries and illnesses in emergency rooms, as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), as a Field Medical Technician with the United States Marine Corps, and at sea. He was a Cardiopulmonary Assistant at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC for one year before attending college at the University of Houston. Mr. Sanders has worked as a safety professional at all levels in the food and beverage industry for over a decade. He has operated as a site manager, a regional manager with over 30 locations across the southern U.S., and has overseen Environmental, Health and Safety for two companies. He was also the site safety manager of two buildings with Amazon Air, including launching the Amazon west regional air hub in San Bernardino, CA. His expertise is in workplace safety, manufacturing equipment, site security, machine guarding, and OSHA standards.
In 2014, Mr. Sanders obtained a certification for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, which is a systematic solution for typical process problems which lead to sustainable operational excellence. He has applied the Six Sigma methodology in each of his previous roles. Quentin is also a Certified XL Tribometrist (CXLT), having gained his certification in June 2023.
