Robert (Bobby) Kollmer is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at CCA with a strong background in HVAC design, MEP, forensic analysis, and mechanical systems evaluation. He brings deep experience in healthcare, academic, and commercial environments, where he has led complex projects for clients such as NYU Langone, Catholic Health Services, and NewYork-Presbyterian.

At CCA, Bobby conducts forensic investigations into HVAC system failures, construction defects, and energy performance issues. His work includes site inspections, code compliance, and expert reporting for litigation and insurance matters. His thorough analysis and ability to communicate clearly with clients makes Bobby a trusted resource on matters involving MEP systems.

In addition to his engineering, Bobby serves as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University, where he teaches courses on HVAC system design and fluid mechanics. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers and developing practical tools that bridge theory and real-world application.

Bobby earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York. Outside of work, he is an accomplished triathlete and longtime youth baseball coach who enjoys the discipline and camaraderie both sports and engineering offer.
