Tyler J. Kryst

Tyler Kryst is an Accident Reconstruction and Biomechanical Specialist with Aperture (formerly American Bio Engineers), and has been with the company since 2021. Tyler’s area of expertise includes vehicular accidents, vehicular dynamics, speed analysis, time/motion studies, vehicle maintenance, and design strength analysis. Tyler has applied this expertise to a wide variety of investigations, including auto, truck, motorcycle, and pedestrian collisions.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019. Over the course of his undergraduate studies, he developed an interest in engineering. This led him to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, also from UNLV. While in pursuit of his advanced degree, Tyler participated in research with the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and instructed an undergraduate mechanical engineering course which focused on the analysis of material properties and mechanical failure. Tyler is currently a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators (SATAI).
