Roof Condition Assessment in Houston, Texas

Mr. Garrison conducted a thorough assessment of the EPDM roofing systems on the Academic Building and Gymnasium at Houston Christian High School (HCHS) in Houston, Texas. The HCHS campus features six buildings with various roof types, including low-slope roofing systems and gabled roof structures. The primary focus of his assessment was on the EPDM roofing membranes on the Academic Building and Gymnasium roofs.

The Academic Building has aging EPDM membrane roofs and gabled structures while the Gymnasium was experiencing water infiltration. The project aimed to provide a concise and precise evaluation of the roofs’ condition, offering strategic recommendations for the continued structural integrity of HCHS buildings.
