Amelia Blonka

Amelia Blonka is a Biomechanical Analyst and Accident Reconstructionist with Aperture. She applies her background in biomedical engineering, biomechanics, and engineering principles to analyze accidents and evaluate the biomechanical forces and injury mechanisms involved. Amelia is certified in crash data retrieval, enabling her to incorporate vehicle data into comprehensive accident reconstruction analyses.

In 2025, Amelia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University. Her academic focus included biomechanics and biomaterials, where she developed a strong foundation in human movement, material behavior, and the application of engineering principles to biological systems. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in cartilage regeneration, gaining valuable experience in experimental design, data analysis, and tissue engineering. As part of her senior capstone project, Amelia collaborated on the design and development of seizure detection glasses intended to improve safety and quality of life for individuals with recurring seizures.

Amelia combines technical expertise with a thoughtful, analytical approach to complex engineering challenges. Drawing on her experience in biomechanics, biomedical research, medical device design, and engineering analysis, she is committed to delivering objective, evidence-based evaluations in support of accident reconstruction investigations. She is also a member of SAE International, reflecting her ongoing engagement with the engineering profession.
