Patrick O’Neill

Mr. O’Neill is a retired law enforcement professional with 22 years of service with the Tacoma Police Department in Washington State. During his distinguished career, he served in a variety of capacities, including Patrol Officer, Motor Officer (Traffic Unit), Community Liaison Officer, and Range Safety Officer. He investigated and documented more than 1,000 traffic collisions and participated in the reconstruction of approximately 100 serious injury and fatal collisions. For eight years, he served as a lead investigator for the department’s Accident Investigation Team, where he oversaw complex collision investigations and reconstructions. He also completed extensive training in law enforcement operations, traffic collision investigation, and accident reconstruction methodologies.

Following his retirement from law enforcement, Mr. O’Neill worked as a Senior Consultant specializing in collision reconstruction. In this role, he provided expert analysis, investigation, and reconstruction services for a wide range of vehicle collisions, including incidents involving passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. He has served as a testifying expert for legal, insurance, and corporate clients, delivering objective findings and expert opinions based on detailed forensic analysis.
