Stephen E. Dell

Stephen Dell is EVP, Senior Managing Director – Economic Consulting with Aperture (formerly Novum Consulting Group). With more than twenty years of professional experience in financial consulting and valuation services, he focuses on assisting clients with complex intellectual property damage analysis, commercial disputes, and valuations.

Stephen has provided damages analysis, valuations, licensing negotiations, and financial consulting services to law firms and corporate clients in more than 150 major intellectual property litigation and complex business litigation matters. As part of this work, Stephen has assisted corporate clients in the valuation of their intellectual property assets, including market assessments, royalty rate assessments, and financial analyses that have been used to determine values in buy/sell transactions, financing arrangements, and licensing and monetization programs.

He has also assisted clients with general business and valuation issues, including breach of contract, business interruption claims, shareholder disputes, and business valuations. As part of his work, Stephen has provided expert testimony in federal and state courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), as well as mediation and arbitration proceedings throughout the United States. In addition, Stephen also possesses extensive experience in the real estate industry and the valuation of real estate assets and was previously a licensed salesperson in the state of Texas by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
